They are cheap

I thought I would buy the same cases as in the store, but they are of lower quality. The paper is much thinner. The seams are not taped either. They can work well in the long run, but be aware you wouldn't buy this from a US retail store. They are cheaper and made that way.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Almost everything ok

Economical mass storage

I downsized my music collection by removing discs, artwork and jewel case backs and sealing them in sandwich bags. Everything is packed in MTM ammo boxes. Reduced from 9 banker crates to around 3 crates. Suitable for long-term storage in semi-damp cellars. This is after ripping all discs to lossless FLAC files for streaming.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

FROM CHINA! for media storage and organization

I bought these CD cases because the description didn't say 'Made in China'. The other CD cover option clearly stated they were "Made in China" and cost a little less, but I spent more to support my country. When they arrived I was stunned to see the 'Made in China' stamp on the plastic. They are definitely serviceable and I will use them now that I have bought them, but they are FALSE ADVERTISEMENT.

Pros
  • great product
Cons
  • some minor issues

Economical but very flimsy

These were bought for my church. We still make copies of the sermons on CD and we needed a cheaper way to package them. They meet all requirements. Remember that "Economy Class" actually means "Economy". They are very, very thin and will not stand up to repeated use or rough handling. That's not a problem for us, but they don't inspire confidence if you're keeping something really important inside.

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • Little things

Professional musician has loved this product for 40 years

I have played the sax, flute and clarinet professionally in the Las Vegas area for decades. There is no work during Covid 19, particularly for musicians due to social distancing issues. I rehearse and record at home to keep in shape and occasionally send some of my projects to friends. The strength and light weight of these CD cases makes them easy to ship and store at home. I never liked plastic suitcases. They always seemed to break.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Disk Storage Available

These paper and plastic sleeves work great! I already have disc storage boxes so I just needed separate cases to prevent the discs from getting scratched during storage. The weight of the paper may be a little thinner than other brands, but this does not affect the protection. Because the cost per sleeve is much lower, they are very economical. For basic storage needs, this is a fantastic value!

Pros
  • 1000 total packed in retail packs of 100, 10 packs
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous

Slim but definitely to be expected for the price.

We will live in a tiny house and have to part with our CD boxes. Most of our music is on our phone and iPad, so we had to save it in case the music CD was accidentally damaged or lost. We also bought CD index cards, removed the inner sleeve and placed them in these sleeves along with the CDs or DVDs. We tore a few as they are very thin. When I got 1000 for the price we paid I ripped the CD case that was still standing a couple of times. I can't give five stars just because it's very thin. But…

Pros
  • White Maxtek paper sleeves with 4" clear window.
Cons
  • unreliable
