Want to feel like a DH rider for a day? It will.

I'm not a DHer but I wanted more front bite. Wow. A real turning point. On the descent you feel omnipotent. Don't be afraid of anything! The whole world bows in obedience, lest evil calamity mow them to death under my wheels! I'm blown away that I have a little less control in tight corners because it's so much fun to drive around. You even get more grip on a long, boring climb to the top of a mountain. After a year or so it's not that interesting anymore and you start thinking about lighter…

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Not all will fit

Awesome tyres, I found no bugs

Awesome tyres, I've been through off road hell on my old tubulars and paid tons of punctures for them. Since I mounted them as tubeless tires, I had no problems at all. The sidewalls are strong enough that I never had a burp even during intense mountain biking. They hold the air fantastic and I usually don't even need to add air to them for a couple of weeks. Even as I pedaled through the South Texas desert over sharp volcanic rocks and a vicious hawthorn cactus, I still didn't have a puncture.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Short manual

Incredible traction, durable construction!

I run all the mountain trails in Pennsylvania with lots of roots, loose rocks, big rocks and wet ground. The Continental X-King my bike came with had constant traction issues, resulting in accidents that shouldn't have happened. They were also very prone to flat pinching. Nothing is worse than sitting on the edge of a trail 3 miles from a hunting ground changing a busted pipe as the sunlight fades, except perhaps when my front end lost traction on a fast turn, causing me to wipe and damaged the

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • No achievement
