Best Cornering Tire

After my first set was so worn that a piece of rubber was missing, I quickly bought a new set. These tires are very fast and give me confidence when cornering at high speeds. Seal once and forget about leaks; They stay firm for a long time and have to be blown a little with every ride. They are explosion proof.

Pros
  • Absolutely Amazing!

Blow out on a hot day

I mounted these tires tubeless with Stans No Tubes and a Stans wheelset. My rear wheel burst on a long, steep descent. I was driving slowly so I stopped - there was latex spatter everywhere. I started installing the hose, bloated and the sidewall couldn't take it and blew it. Not happy with that. I think the tire compound is ok, just the bead isn't tight enough to withstand the high pressure.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Quality

Another great choice for tubeless use.

Another good choice. I mounted these tires on a set of Easton EA90SL rims, mounted with no problems, have ridden them all winter and now summer with no problems. You will enjoy the ride, low rolling resistance and handling, the transition from clincher is really noticeable. I also use Schwalbe on another wheelset, can't decide which I like best, both are excellent.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Safety

Strong as a nail but with a stiffer barrel

This is one of the toughest tires. I haven't had a flat tire in 2 years of driving. However, you have to pay for it. The ride is stiff compared to a quality tubular tire. I have just upgraded to Continental GP4000s ii and it looks like the bike has received a major upgrade - the ride is so smooth and responsive. Take a look at this tire if you have frequent punctures or off-road driving. Otherwise I would recommend a high-quality tubular tire like the Continental GP4000s II or the Schwalbe One.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
