I ordered a 20" collar and compared to other 20" collars I've ordered the measurements on it were wrong for some reason. The tags said 20 but I measured and found 24 end to end.

I bought this because it was recommended for my 6 month old Great Dane puppy. He likes it but lacks control when he wants to go one way and I want to go the other. He's going to be a big dog and he needs to learn now and I don't think this collar is for us now.

I ordered two 21" collars and received 24" for both. I didn't send it back because it seemed too cumbersome why they didn't just send the correct size. I also found the collar bulky due to the extra pieces of leather which I don't think add to the product.

I have recently started training my dog with my 1.5 year old pup and my trainer recommended this color over a harness or standard collar. It made such a difference with my dog. Combined with my training sessions, this collar helped my dog stop pulling while walking, which was my biggest problem.

I had to hold the dog and hold it with my weight until I got another collar. I do not recommend anyone with a dog that is strong for training. It only reduces bad traction. Until I got another collar for my typ.med-large strong breed, I walked my dog with no problem. So make sure every buyer notices this. Also, my dog broke because of the jerking! So I lost my money
