🔇 MBRP M2220A Aluminized Quiet Tone Muffler - 31 inch Review

From the 5 inch straight pipe to the resonator, catalytic converter and this muffler. Sounds a lot better, especially at highway speeds. I still can't make phone calls while driving, and sometimes I have to park the truck to order on the go. 2003 F250 6.0

I put this on my MBRP 5" straight pipe. Everything has changed in the world. My truck used to be too loud. Now at idle it seems a little louder than factory and when i turn it on it sounds nice a bit loud but not as protective as before it was exactly what i was looking for sounds better and seems to drive better now.

I never write reviews but this one deserves it! It definitely exceeded expectations. My old straight tube Duramax needed 100% rumble. Still a smooth throaty exhaust note, but my old dog is comfortable to drive again. The 5" straight pipe was cool when I was in my 20s, but now I disagree. Buy this for your truck. Your ears and brain cells will thank you.

I have a 2011 Chevy HD with deletion and a 5" straight pipe exhaust, had a very pathetic roar at 40 mph and again at 70 mph. I recently bought a car', after much research I settled on MBRP. If professionally installed I would say the noise was reduced by 50%, my wife says closer to 70%. But what is the difference , I'm very happy with this product and results, VERY careful it won't do OEM silently if that's your goal keep looking lol.

Added to AFE 5" Straight Pipe at 7.3. Didn't mind the straight whistle sound, but lugging the 5 Series around town was too much. Place this muffler in place of the muffler removal tube. 2014 6.7 with second gen swap (not vgt). SUPER loud direct channel when I bought it. It was decent at first but the drone quickly became outdated and I'm sure my neighbors didn't like it. It didn't drown out the truck in any way, it's certainly still loud with a nice growl. However, this calmed him down considerably. I recently bought a 7.3 F250 with straight tubes. I love the truck but it was SO LOUD. How embarrassing, so obnoxious, that you get pretty loud scowls from everyone you meet.
