McDavid 6500 HexPad Power Shooter Arm Sleeve Review

Purchased a pair for volleyball. Although they feel great after ONE wearing at practice, the material tore. Our club season is for 6 month so I can imagine them making it that long. Disappointing for the money.

My elbow has been in pain for a few months and I thought I would give this sleeve a shot. It made a HUGE difference, which I honestly wasn’t expecting. No more pain and it has actually prevented me from a few impact-related injuries since i’ve started using it! Great purchase

I have big arms and I ordered a L no XL available a little tight but will probably stretch out a bit. It stays put and feels secure. Seems like a great Compression sleeve with a added pad right where I need it most after my elbow surgery.

I purchased the McDavid 6500 shooter sleeve, the Under Armor compression sleeve and the Blitzu. by a rather wide margin the Blitzu is the most comfortable. They all seem to do what they're advertised to do, but the UA is way to tight at the top, and the McDavid is a very specific item with its elbow pad. so, for the price and comfort, Blitzu was the big winner

These padded shooting sleeves fit pretty true to size. The main problem I have is with the ends.On the adidas sleeves they put little rubber at the ends of the sleeves to prevent slipping. These do not have that and so the slip frequently and you have to put them back in place.The other problem is that the padding is not very large. If you were playing a sport where you just needed to protect the very end of your elbow these would be sufficient, but I like the pads to come around the side some,

My 12 year old son wears this to keep his arm straight when he shoots. These give him the means to do so. Of course, he also likes the look of these when they're on. He is 5'3" and weighs 120 lbs and the size Small fits very nicely and tight.

I like the look and fit of these. I am a large person but I went with a size smaller. Snug fit but that's what compression is for I think.

Can't give it less than 4 stars because the quality is good, and it is exactly what you'd expect. My only problem with this product is that I don't actually like using it. No matter how I wear it, it just feels too tight around my upper arm. And the restricted blood flow makes me feel weak after exercise. I wouldn't recommend this for any intense activity.

I bought a pair of these for my daughter since she is always diving in volleyball. She absolutely loves them and say that they provide cushion and protection of her arms, especially elbows, during dives.

My daughter loves these for elbow protection when figure skating. It's light weight and flexible enough to be able to move freely,, but it gives her nice protection when she has hard falls from jumps, etc.

I ordered a medium and its a little loose. I also thought the material would be a little for firm. It's a slim spandex blend and slides when sweaty. Does the job but would recommend something more sturdy especially if you have tennis elbow.
