I was a bit disappointed with the durability of the wheel tips. I removed and reinstalled the grommets once. I used a Walmart folded in half between the nut and socket to remove and reattach the tips. The paint on some ears is cracked. I also bought wheel locks and the same thing happened. These nuts replaced the original Ford factory nuts. Before ordering I checked with McGard and confirmed they are correct (i.e. fit the car and Ford wheels and my factory key).
