Should have taken the bad reviews advice

I spent 43 hours installing this sensor. Although it was identical to the old one in every way, I couldn't start any threads. It wasn't until I successfully tried to reinstall the old one that I realized that this one would never fit! I think I learned the lesson of buying cheap parts; You get what you pay for and the wasted time made it a lot more expensive than a better quality part.

worked on 2004 CR-V code P0325

My car could not skip emissions until this code was cleared. I watched a video on YouTube and decided it would be better to let my mechanic do it, but I gave this part to him. He told me that they aren't easy to get hold of and that YouTube videos don't quite tell the whole story. . It is located on the front of the engine, hidden under the alternator and power steering pump. But once that was done, the code cleaned up, stayed clean, and I missed outliers. In general very satisfied

New block removed with very little pressure

Installation is very easy but if the knock sensor fails the job becomes almost impossible. The location is very tight (under the intake manifold), so a deep socket and a pair of extension cords (a long one will not work - there is not enough space) (the radiator is in the way). But now that it's disassembled I need to remove the radiator, intake manifold, etc. Probably 8 hours of work. Can't wait to see the new/bad/stripped sensor. Tightening to lock was too easy. I had no leverage, I choked on

It worked. But that's about

Well it worked after some trouble with the installation, it's not the part's fault it's its position on the engine. I found the other reviews a little embarrassing, wish I had paid a little more attention to the part I just installed, hope it doesn't fail when it does, I won't be looking for a warranty replacement if it does , I will update this review . This is nothing but a piezo mic, simple description - crystal between two plates, hermetically sealed so time will tell, ready to help ifโ€ฆ

I highly recommend this product as it is a functional part for.

I have been looking for a replacement knock sensor since my RSX started giving knock sensor codes and I have looked at many knock sensors from ebay to more expensive ones. After reading a few reviews I saw that most people choose the more expensive brands as they seem to be more reliable. However, after installing this product a few weeks ago, I no longer have the knock sensor code and my car runs fine. I would highly recommend this product as it is a feature piece that costs a fraction of what

Lemon or inferior product?

I ordered this item quite a while ago when my 2006 Honda Element started showing a knock sensor code (P0325). A few days later the engine died and the code came back. It took me a while to determine if the issue was related to the new sensor or if it could be another related issue. Whether that's typical of the topic or whether I just got a lemon remains to be seen. When I replaced the sensor with an OEM part I found on eBay for $8, the code disappeared and never reappeared. The engine runsโ€ฆ

works on a 2003 CR-V on sensors

Removed a duplicate knock sensor trouble code. Replaced a faulty sensor in a 2003 CR-V with this one. it works. Codes are no longer displayed. To get to the sensor and replace it, you need to remove the fender. Hard-to-reach workplace. Disconnect the electrical connection. It takes small hands or a long, hooked needle nose to break the electrical connection. A 1 and 1/16 inch or 27mm box end wrench is required to remove and replace the sensor. I was not given an outlet in the work area. That'sโ€ฆ

Bad mug, happy customer!

Bought when my original 'broke' at 195,000 miles I was hesitant at first, I usually drive Honda OEM but I went to the Mean Mug website and the owners were reputable and up to date and working from my home state. For a fraction of the OEM cost I decided to give it a try and I'm glad I did! It looked exactly like the one I replaced and after the ecu ran through its logs a few times the check engine light went out and hasn't come on in over 1000 miles since the replacement. I will definitely beโ€ฆ
