It's amazing! I am currently working with a local car repair shop and the mechanics use Mechanic Desk for scheduling their clients. The client portal allows me to view the current schedule for each mechanic, add new jobs to the calendar, create customer cards, manage warranties, and access other services. Mechanic Desk is a great tool that any mechanic would love to have. We have been using MechanicDesk since 2009 and are happy with our decision. The customer service is excellent and they…

Pros
  • Easy to use, the dashboard is intuitive and the navigation through the platform is easy
  • Customer support is quick and efficient
Cons
  • This isn’t the case with all of the other services.
  • However, they only allow you to manage one account at a time.
  • They don’t offer online training, so if you want to learn how to use the product effectively, you will have to purchase the product yourself.

After my experience with Shopify i found myself back on Mechanicdesk and am so happy i did!Mechanicdesk was great because i could get a very similar layout and design to my website, including images. And it made creating products and settings for my shop super easy. Mechanicdesk was also very helpful when trying to setup my email newsletter. I have used MechanicDesk for a few years now. When I started, it was mainly for keeping track of parts inventory, scheduling maintenance, invoicing and reporting. But I quickly discovered that it could handle much more! I have since used it to manage a team of mechanics, take customer orders and generate quotes.
