Description of 🧽 Meguiar’s S6FI Unigrit 6 Inch Foam Interface Pad, 1 Pack

6" Foam Interface Pad serves as a soft cushion between backing plate and 6" Unigrit Foam Finishing Discs. Safely follows contours and works closer to most edges. Ideally engineered for use with Unigrit Foam Finishing Discs. Allows for quick and easy disc changes with micro hook and loop attachment system. Soft, pliable foam provides controlled conformability.

The DA pads are good, but they peel off easily.

Good lining but layers between velcro and lining come off easily and the cost is quite high considering how quickly they self destruct.

Pros
  • A dream come true
Cons
  • Nothing

Excellent interface pad

This interface pad has a nice finish and cuts well. Just be careful when using with Meguiar pads because if you're not careful they'll stick together, melt together. I have a few for the DA grinder and they cut well, better than the 3m interface pads.

Pros
  • Expensive but valuable
Cons
  • Expensive

does the job. No questions.

This disc provides a good spacing between this drill adapter (7pcs MATCC buffing discs 3/5/6/7', sets of sponge and wool polishing wax buffing discs with M10 6' drill adapter) and wet/dry discs sandpaper. This is enough to use a drill adapter (which is too complicated on its own) to shape bondo and smooth out old painted surfaces for priming. Used it with 180 grit dry pads and 400-3000 grit wet pads. Sticks to all brands of sandpaper, not afraid of water. It just works.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • old
