Type of review

This is a great set of 5 edge mills, 1/2" shank. Bearing tops, 2 Tungsten Carbide (TC) wings and complex curved shapes with ribs and lugs depending on the drill bit I can use these with my large router, preferably mounted on a table to create whimsical moldings for picture frames, decorative moldings etc. They have 2 sharp TC wings and must be handled carefully to avoid chipping or damaging the TC. I have been working with wood for as long as I can remember. I know I'll live longer with my premium bits, which cost significantly more. I've easily invested over a thousand dollars in Beats. I also have a cheap 40 piece set that not only gives me a lot of different profiles but also increases the size. Whenever I need this crazy tip or I'm doing a job that I don't want to waste my good tips on, I grab one of these. These bits are pretty sharp and hard metal. Plain steel bits don't hold up…

Ok with some caveats. Nothing for beginners.

The Meihejia bits themselves are at least visually good and really have a wonderful value. If the low price is a downside compared to more expensive brands offering the same bits, it's the quality of the finish and the pulley/bearing. However, the color is suitable for some. Carbide blades are the same thickness as others and it's hard to tell the difference in sharpness. A few things to keep in mind. You must have a variable speed router and at least two horsepower. You can't run them at…
