Disappointing motorcycle charger for Automotive enthusiasts

This charger just can't handle the demands of modern electronics. While it's advertised for motorcycles, it barely keeps up with a basic phone charger. The design is clunky and difficult to use as well.

Works perfectly. on Power Inverters

Works perfectly. A good blue LED lights up when the ignition is on. I connected it directly to my boat's battery with a switch so it can be used without turning on the engine.

Questionable quality

UPDATE: The seller actually offered a discount on the item. I replaced the USP socket with a different version and after plugging everything in they work as they should. So far, so good. My first assessment is that these items are not of the highest quality. I do not have a page as a disclaimer. The product I bought was from somewhere else and the mount was not a tent type but a flat plate. HOWEVER the bushings are identical with the little rubber covers (which I'll get to in a moment) and if…
