🔧 Melling Oil Pump for Ford 4.6L/5.4L Engines Review

Great pump hope it helps my 5.4 with its high oil needs. I just installed vvt sync and solenoids so it was a breeze once I got there.

OEM replacement part, highly recommended as an upgrade, only time will tell. installed on engine during overhaul (160k)

I didn't particularly like that the item was sent in a crumpled box and then it turned out that there was no o-ring on it, there was a spring that I not needed, sealing ring would be better. (inner box was crushed, outer box is like new)

I don't know much but I do know that oil keeps my engine running. good oil that is. So now the extra 100 is not only there to avoid future problems, but also for higher flow, higher pressure, more oil, a happier truck, a happier you, peace of mind, 100 extra well spent

Installed with new VCT Solenoids, Phasers, Rocket Arms and Headset. Everything is quiet and runs like a new engine. Two tips when getting into this job-1. Fordmaculoco (video on YouTube)2. All Ford components except oil pump. Don't go cheap! You will waste your time and money. Much luck.

I had low oil pressure on my F150 when I reversed the low side trailer the mechanic found that the oil; The pump failed so I bought what I thought was the best on the market, this pump. After paying a lot to have my engine burned out and this installed the truck ran great for about 400 miles and now EVERY TIME I turn it on it behaves like a diesel and the oil gauge is jumping. I don't recommend it, look better, it will cost you to install it. I have a 5.4L 3V with 112,000 miles on it.
