replaced my cylinder head gasket and my main oil seals, so I decided to replace the oil pump, although I had good oil pressure, what is the difference at idle and mid-range, good strong normal pressure without replacement the bearing shells

Fits like the original on my '84 F250 351W. No complaints. I would also suggest ordering a new pickup tube/baffle assembly at the same time. The screen usually collects a lot of dirt and it takes a lot of work to rid it of small particles.
