I had a Macbook Pro in mid 2010 from a certain time when 16GB RAM was considered cool. Almost all other Macbook Pros do not support this! Looks! As for trying to revive a nine-year-old computer, it honestly didn't have as much of an impact as I would have liked, but it definitely made a difference. The laptop is still quite slow. I just installed this product and only 1 slot is working with 8GB and the other slot shows an empty faulty product which will be returned immediately.

I'm not sure who makes this memory but note that it will not work with MBP 15" Mid 2010. Although the specs say it SHOULD work and the product description says it will work, this memory does not. The system crashes 30-60 seconds after loading. (Also note that I'm running a brand new install of OSX High Sierra, so there's no potential issue here.)
