Big but Good - Cutlery and Knife Accessories

Great Knife. Very large, so not always the most practical. I like this for veggies because I can pick them up with the flat side of a knife.

Pros
  • Hands-Free Operation
Cons
  • Unbelievable Price

My Favorite Kitchen Knife

This is now my favorite kitchen knife. It's very durable and was actually quite sharp when it arrived. I still haven't bothered to sharpen it, although now, after long use, it might come in handy. I recommend this product.

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Negativity Present

Really good product

Wow. That's a sharp knife. It's a lot bigger than I thought, maybe I wanted to return it and get a smaller one, but I feel like this knife is worth keeping. He cut the cutting board, it's so sharp. Cuts through chicken bones with ease. Very well worth the money. I would consider throwing away all my knives and buying a set in a perspex holder.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • poorly thought out

This knife did not disappoint me. Very sharp and well balanced

This was one of the few kitchen knives of this size available. This knife did not disappoint me. Very sharp and balanced. It's built for tough use. The only caveat is that there isn't a blade safe big enough to fit inside. I'm trying to figure out how to store it for transport to and from work. Now use tape and cardboard packaging.

Pros
  • Fingers crossed
Cons
  • Slightly dented

Great Knife: Cutlery & Knife Accessories

This knife really delivered and is a lot bigger than I expected. It meets all of my grinding needs no matter the size of the job. I cut and chop everything from potatoes to onions with this knife and I never get tired because the weight of the knife does all the work for me. The handle of this knife is also very ergonomic and comfortable, which is very helpful during long cooking times.

Pros
  • Special Offer
Cons
  • Socket Required

Buy this knife now

Comfortable handle with easy grip and razor sharp knife right out of the box. I work in the kitchen and eat about 50 pounds of different vegetables a day and this knife has made my job so much easier. The blade is wide which makes it easy to scoop my veggies and also very heavy to work with solid food. All the versatility of a standard chef's knife, but despite the weight of a cleaver, it's the best of both worlds. The only reason this isn't a five star rating is that I got the 8 inch version…

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • There's something wrong

Incredibly sharp and perfectly balanced. This is a surprisingly good knife, especially for the money. I have never used a knife that holds the blade so well. When chopping garlic, for example, you really don't need to exert yourself. The knife's weight allows it to easily slide through the garlic under its own weight. Yes, it's stamped, but the balance is very, very good. The handle material is very comfortable to hold; soft and very "tenacious" even when wet. A small note has to do with the…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Sad packaging

You get what you pay for

I've been trying to find a use for this knife for two years and I rarely - and reluctantly - use it. It's ridiculously heavy and the length is uncomfortable. I found 10 inches to be overkill and I really don't need anything more than an 8 inch chef's knife for most cutting tasks. However, my main criticism of this Mercer knife is that it doesn't hold its edge more than a few times. Regular honing is not enough to preserve it. It needs to be sharpened. I tried using it because it takes up…

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • For old
