🔪 Barfly Y Swiss Peeler, Black: Effortlessly Peel with Precision Review

I don't know what the point of the carbon coating on it is (or is the blade just covered in paint?). This damn thing had RUST spots on the blade after being washed in the dishwasher *ONCE* and I couldn't feel ripped off anymore. It was ok the first time, but the second time I'm careful - I don't want rust in my food. This is rubbish and you should try to buy something better. I regret this purchase.

Incredibly terrible. I opened it up and used it right away to see how spicy it is. it was almost unnecessarily boring. I then hand washed it in very hot water, rinsed in even hotter water and tumble dried it to air dry overnight. I woke up the next morning and saw that it was terribly rusty. It rusted on the metal-to-cheap-plastic handles and on the edges of the blades. I am shocked at how truly awful this product is. BUYER BEWARE, LOOK ELSEWHERE!

The plastic felt a little flimsy but was actually very comfortable to use. The cleaner did what I wanted and I was very happy to have one of these for my bar! What I didn't like is that I bought it a week or two ago and have only used it twice and it's rusting. When I first received this knife I was a little worried about the quality as the handle is made of very light plastic. I was afraid that it would not stand up to regular use and break. Obviously it wasn't the kind of plastic I had to worry about! The metal of the knife has already started to rust.
