We bought these boots for my 7 year old daughter. They are very comfortable and stylish and my daughter loves wearing them. She wore them both in field conditions and on concrete and did not complain of any pain in her legs. I bought these for my young daughter so she can have a good pair of walking shoes like her mother. The velcro is great for kids, she can put them on herself and doesn't need anyone's help! She wore them for about 3 hours last week on a tough hike and felt great, no discomfort, no red spots or pinched toes, her feet stayed dry despite jumping in a puddle of water along the way.
