Nothing about these shoes makes sense. The toe shape is arched inward, the midsole is too narrow, and the arch support resembles a billiard ball. This is probably the most uncomfortable shoe I have ever worn in my life... I am shocked these are Merrell products. Garbage. Don't buy this.

Don't use them for street running and they will be perfect. I mean I would make 5k but no more. I walk barefoot and that's why I love my glove 4.

These are beautiful and seemingly well made shoes. It was so tight I couldn't get my toes through. I wear a 10/medium width. Here's what I bought. I doubt the score would help. I needed a wide one that Merrell doesn't sell in that style.

My husband likes them so much I ordered them for women. He loves the arch support and grippy Vibrum outsole. They fit like a glove but don't pinch his toes, which he has a lot of trouble with. He also has steam gloves. This shoe had a narrower toe and slightly less ground feel.

Finally the 1st generation ended. The last pair is worn out. Yes. I find a pair of shoes I like and buy 6 pairs. That's good. Not at all, but I like her. Harder to put on. The lace closures make them difficult to put on and I always need a shoehorn.

I like them for their very high quality and the way they got me going. It took some time to get used to them, but I got used to them quickly. Unfortunately the rubber that wraps around the toe of the shoe has come off after less than a week of wear, never kicked or slipped, just ripped :/ other than that it's a pretty great shoe :)

Shane, MERELL. I already have a pair of these shoes and I really like them. I have ordered a new pair in a different color. There was no padding on the inside of the shoes like a new pair so I turned them over and saw dirt and grime on the sole. SOMEONE, SOMEONE WEAR THIS OUTSIDE. Merrell needs to improve quality control or at least inform the customer about the condition of the purchased product. It's a shame to spend so much on shoes and get reimbursed by someone.

I've transitioned from regular shoes to minimalist barefoot shoes. They look and feel great. They really make you feel the area.

These are really great shoes for running or hiking. I can wear them all day and my feet are comfortable and the arch keeps them from getting tired.

I've worn the same size trail gloves and vapor gloves since model 2 and most of them have been fantastic; usually lasts about 2 years a pair. It was almost comical trying to wear one of those sixes. These are too narrow. I couldn't even hit her with my foot.

Three months of use - twice a week for aerobics and the protector is already peeling off. You have to deduct 1 star from them. ---- They have arch support but they don't raise my heel. At first they were a bit tight and digging into my leg near the pinky toe, but they loosened up. high.
