Big Little Nail Puller

Bought to do small woodwork as I don't like the big holes my 18 gauge nailer leaves. The manual says setting the supercharger at 100psi is no problem. Said it would work at higher pressure but it's harder on the nailer. I did a quick test with a piece of the quarter round shield I was going to use and attached it to the 2x4 with just 2 pins to see how well it would hold up. I wasn't expecting too much, my goodness, I was wrong! I was trying to remove this piece of trim from a 2x4 and it flexedโ€ฆ

Pros
  • HARDWARE: 23 gauge headless self-adjusting pins (5/8", 3/4", 1", 1-3/16"). and 1-3/8 inches. Lengths of fasteners
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Well made, cheap price and more than sturdy enough for my use.

The name is puzzling as Metabo was a German tool manufacturer for many years and this Metabo is owned by Hitachi. Regardless, it's a well-made tool that's easy to use and maybe not as robust as Senco or Porter + Cable, but it feels like it should work just fine at home. I've used an 18 gauge nailer for things like quarter round paneling, but these 23 gauge pins hold just as well, make a significantly smaller hole, and are less likely to split hardwood paneling. They are also great for holdingโ€ฆ

Pros
  • DEPTH ADJUSTMENT: Depth adjustment for fitting flush to different surfaces
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous

One-Piece Nailer for Power and Hand Tools

First on branding. Metabo (a German manufacturer of power tools) was acquired by Hitachi back in 2016. Hitachi started labeling many of their tools with the Metabo name, anywhere you would use a 23 gauge tool - I mainly use it around the outside corners of the molding to hold them while the glue dries (to make sure they never come loose).Since the pins have no heads I wouldn't recommend it as a primary nailer for finishing carpentry work.Ultra light, easy to use, comes with a pouch Here's theโ€ฆ

Pros
