Durable and quality product for the price. The only problem is that instead of "thorns" the item has "ribs". This makes it difficult for the hose to slide completely to avoid leaking. I've found that if I cut the tubing at a slight angle I can roll over the ridge.

Valves appear to be of high quality however all connections between valves and hose connector leaked even with the teflon tape provided. (The addition of Teflon tape to the package should be a wake-up call. Shims had to be added to stop leaks.

I used this valve as a bypass after installing two flushing purifiers on a caravan's black water tank (one on the front sensor side and one on the back of the tank). The valve is of decent quality although the item came out with some bent splines as if it had been dropped. I was able to straighten them out easily with a screwdriver.
