Good product. Very well made and included.

Great product. Very well made, there are a lot of extra cables in the kit. All I had to do was trim the length. The reason for the review is that it wasn't plug and play. The speaker harness was completely different, I had to hardwire the deck harness right at the factory. The other half of the harness worked perfectly, plugged in correctly. I don't know why this happened as I have all the vehicle information in my garage correct entered.I would buy this brand again and from this company.

Pros
  • Factory Amplifier Bypass Harness 204" long
Cons
  • Something different

Ok but the antenna connector was wrong

I purchased this kit to install a secondary stereo in a 1996 Ford Explorer with JBL premium audio System. The speaker wiring kit from the back of the car where the JBL premium audio system is installed to the dash where the aftermarket stereo is installed worked great. The cable set also included an antenna cable, but the connector supplied is not suitable for connection to a high quality JBL stereo system. I've installed a stereo and cable set for use with my iPod, but I can't get AM/FM…

Pros
  • Wiring harness is connected to the factory amp and goes to the aftermarket radio or amp bay
Cons
  • boring packaging

Does the job for a unique system

The upper 95-97 Ford JBL system is unique in that the head unit sends a proprietary digital signal to the rear amp and the amp produces decent output. Subwoofer amplifier. 98 the amplifier was integrated into the head. Other radios send line signals to the harness. "Integration" is not possible with this special system. Don't even think about using the line out with this amp, don't waste your time. This is a paperweight if you're not using a stock head. Do not believe me? Get the schematic and…

  • 14 pin connector
