Fits perfectly where the CD player was in my 1997 suburb and I love how deeper it is than the one I had on my 1995 Silverado because I can put my glasses in there and it's unlikely to fall out.

These Metra bags were fitted to numerous OBS 96-00 GM SUVs such as GMC Yukon, Cadillac Escalade and Chevy Tahoe/Suburban. They also work well in 96-00 OBS Sierras and Silverados. Installation couldn't be simpler and the fit and finish is great.

Easy installation, it snaps into the slot where the cassette belongs. Practical compartment for small items such as pens, wallet, etc. In any case, the cassette hasn't worked for about 10 years. Did this on my 2001 GMC Yukon.

A great option for those who no longer need a cassette player/CD player for old GM cars. My particular truck is an 02 GMC Sierra with center console and optional tape deck from which I removed the tape player in favor of this extra bag. Fits very snug, my only concern is why there should be holes in this particular bag. easy fix - seal the holes with black tape!

Worked great on my 01 GMC Sierra SLT who got rid of the old tape recorder after I upgraded the radio and speakers. Make sure the bag is tilted down. I flipped it over first and wondered why it didn't fit properly. Insert it almost all the way and let the dashboard attach it. You may or may not use the plastic pad that comes with the kit. This can ruin the valve that closes the hole in your storage compartment. Just see what works for you.

I don't really understand why it's in two pieces. It gives me a headache every time I disassemble my dashboard to upgrade my stereo and find its place. I should just glue them together, but hopefully today will be the last time I take my dash apart for a stereo! It's also a great place to put my iPod and a place for a cable so I can change my iPod at a stop light or in a parking lot because I would never do that while driving!

I used this on my 2003 Astro Van. It's not listed for this year's car, but another reviewer said it would work. The sides that slide into the van's dashboard needed to be trimmed slightly to fit properly. I used an angle grinder to cut them. Also, the front detached from the main unit so I put tape on it to hold it together. The rape is hidden behind the van. I also glued on a $.35 foam insert from Wal-Mart. Now I have an extra compartment for my iPod and cell phone. Sweet.

I don't quite follow the 1 star reviews here. Yes, this is a regular plastic bag with no lining. They may have changed the description but I got exactly what I expected. The holes on the back are very small. Personally I don't keep mustard seed sized items in my bags so I don't think I'll have any problems if I lose things in them. Okay, the tirade is done, lol.
