I had to file the inner fairing on my 2000 F150 to make it big enough to fit the double din standard. When I was finished, the front of this kit didn't fit properly. To get it right I would have to cut the bottom of the hole even more than I did to mount the radio. Even so, this rim is too thick for the front of the dashboard to snap smoothly into place. Good at first: The instructions were short but very helpful. The side tabs helped me hold the stereo securely in place. I chose to remove the trim around the stereo that keeps it for better control when cutting and I think I got much cleaner results. This part went according to plan and instructions.
