It does work, let me start there.My issue with the product has been that the brackets (let’s call them that) get stuck in my hair when I’m trying to slide it up/down when wearing or taking it off. There’s a review on here that says "not for persons of color/those with coarse hair unless your hair is in a bun or ponytail”. This is the 3rd time we've ordered these. The first time I handed them out to friends that were big guys and/or had beards. You can easily adjust your mask using this product without ripping your ears off. My son's job has him traveling to different sporting events every week and masks are mandatory. He loves these! He keeps multiple extenders with him and shares them with his coworkers. My grandson uses them now too - he said it makes wearing the mask much more comfortable.

It is a simple, plastic band which is used to extend the mask straps to reach behind the head rather than to rub against the ears. Since I wear glasses, the added pressure of the straps of a face mask made the back of my ears sore. Nothing fancy, inexpensive, and effective.

While you can adjust the tightness of the mask's ear loops, they strip is too long for average size heads/necks and I had to cut down the ends. They do not do a good job of keeping one earloop on the extender after you remove your mask.

It slid down and did not keep the mask strings off my ears. I have used and lost them all. Not sure what can be done about them sliding down my head.

It’s not elastic - you just put your mask straps along the ridges and it is 10x more comfortable than having the mask straps on your ears for long periods. Kind of leaves you with messy hair sometimes - worth it

If you have long hair, forget it. Even if you put your hair up, forget it. Also, unless you wear this around your neck at all times, you will fumble behind your neck trying to put it in the right spot each time you wear it. Thumbs down

Masks were pulling on my husbands ears. This product helped. As a woman I wouldn’t want to wear this as the band goes over your hair and it would leave a dent in my hair line and mess up your hair. So if you have short hair this is a great product. It helps with the pulling on your ears when having to wear a mask for hours.

bought this to relief the ear pain when wearing the mask for a long work day (madatory for me)But i didn't take into consideration that it will be a mess with my curly hair. so my complaint is not toward the product that does the job right, it's just not a great fit for people with long hair, especially long and curly.

While it may it make it harder to take your mask off completely, this has saved my ears. At work I have to wear a disposable face mask for 8 hours a day. Before I bought this, I'd have really red and painful earlobes. This thing takes all the pressure off of my ears and allows me to move the tension to other parts of my head or neck.I don't recommend it with reusable masks though. It may stretch them out and prevent them from being used without the ear saver.

Life saver now that we are in the NICU every day. Having to wear a mask for hours is not a hassle but man does it hurt the back of my ears when we leave. Luckily I got these and so far so good, could be a bit longer but that’s a minor complaint. For anyone who is wearing a mask over a long time period this is money well spent!

I purchased the MIAODAM mask extenders in October of 2021. After two months of use I can say these are a much better solution than the previous version I was using. For one thing they don't accidentally come undone; however, for that same reason you will need some time in learning the best way to remove them. With a little concentration it is no problem. The other benefit is they lay flat when tucked in behind the car visor.

I had purchased these before. Although they are not difficult to lose, they provide a good solution for those who don't like to wear masks that hook around their ears.

These are GREAT IF you don't have longer hair then what they call a "boy/man cut" like shown in the description of the product. My Daughter and I have shoulder length and longer hair and it does not work well under your hair (tangles in your hair & can pull hair out) and grabs hair when placed over the hair, plus messes up the hair.
