Description of MICHELIN X-Ice North 4 205/60 R15 95T winter
The new tread pattern allows for an increased number of studs, forming 22 lines in the longitudinal and 22 in the transverse direction. This number of stud lines provides a high level of traction on ice.
The stud is specially shaped to enhance the tire''s braking performance. An iron-based alloy allows you to even out the wear rate of the tread and stud rubber, as well as more effectively resist external aggressions - increased loads, chemical and physical impacts.
The characteristic placement of the spikes in the tire contributed to the improvement of braking performance on ice and noise reduction.
