bad connection good for sports and portable GPS

I bought this product for a trip abroad. From the start it was clear that the connector was poorly made. It didn't stay connected and then broke after a few days of use.

Pros
  • good so
Cons
  • makes me nervous

The cable is not suitable for sports and portable GPS

I have bought this unit twice and both cable connectors on the camera side broke within a few hours. Signal and location accuracy were fine before the cable broke. They should have a curved connector head like the other cables I connected.

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • Some defects

Almost good bang for the buck

Well, it works in most cases. Poor cable management, but with a bad connection cable. There's nothing reliable about this device, but it works most of the time, although I had to fiddle with the connector to allow the camera to get GPS information.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Works with other models too

After 8 months of arguing with Nikon about Spabridge's inability to work, I took a chance and tried this one out. Wow, it works great with my D5600. I can finally embed GPS data in my photos! Nikon has never offered a refund or replacement. They had it 3 times and never fixed the problem. If you're having trouble connecting to Snapbridge, take advantage of this!

Cable is the main problem

The other day I asked a colleague to take a picture. When he was done he left the camera on the counter and when I picked it up I noticed the cable was damaged. I don't know how he damaged the cable like that. Previously, it was impossible to replace a cable without paying for a new device. The manufacturer needs cables at affordable prices. My camera is a Nikon D90 which uses a different cable than other cameras. I got a new cable from GPWebShop and it works. I need to do more extensiveโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons

Bad cable routing.

I originally used this once on a Nikon 10 pin camera and it worked well but was a bit slow on a clear day. It still worked. I tried using the second cable that came with the device to use this device on my D7100. It didn't work at all and even made my camera misbehave. Using an ohmmeter I found that the data pin and ground pin were shorted together. I paid for it. I deserve a working cable. I just need a cable, but I need it! I would be happy to return the defective cable.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • A newer model could have been chosen

I can't believe how good this is!

I am a very picky photographer and I did not have GPS on my Nikon D850 DSLR. Not necessary, but a very nice extra feature to remind you of the location of your recording. He didn't list my camera as a candidate, but I asked others and they told me it would work. Well it arrived this afternoon, I put it on the camera, turned it on, waited about 40 seconds for a solid green light, took a picture and lo and behold the GPS data was written to the camera's metadata. When I imported the image intoโ€ฆ

Disappointing accessories

I've always wanted to geotag my photos and Nikon doesn't offer this feature on their high end DSLRs so I gave this one a try. It works fine when it works, but I spend a lot of time playing around with it and my D750 trying to get it to sync up and work. Every time I want to use it, it takes multiple attempts to securely connect it to the camera, which is frustrating. I wonder why it can't work seamlessly like my smartphone, which can automatically geotag every photo, or other Nikon compactโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Negative gift

Yes, it works! I was hesitant to buy this device because I didn't know what cameras it would work with. Too bad I didn't get it sooner! First the cameras I own: D500, D750, D7100, D5200. These (and most Nikon models) have two common connectors. (N1 and N3) This unit comes with cables that fit both: a round 10-pin connector used in high-end cameras such as the D5, D500, and others, and a rectangular connector used in the D750, D5200, D7100, etc. is used. d Be safe. , it works on your D500 as Iโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Long delivery time
