It's decent value for money but be aware it doesn't recognize 9 and 10 digit ICs which are usually older. Let's hope that in a few years only the new standard 15-digit ISO chips will be implanted in animals. It's a nice sleek design. It does not come with a USB adapter box that allows you to plug the charging cable into a power outlet. So note that you need to charge it with your laptop or buy an adapter separately.
