Doesn't work best in POS devices

This was a replacement for the first one I bought which didn't work. and that doesn't work either. I tested it on my own dogs and every single one of them said "no tag". They are old people and they got microchipped years ago so I thought maybe they emigrated. Not being able to find her despite having her entire body scanned was worrying. I took the device to my vet and he tested it with a live test chip. Nothing. Then he showed me how their chip reader works properly. I will have no other…

Crazy Story Time. I am a Lifeguard Volunteer and purchased this item to chip test stray dogs. Someone contacted me about the puppy pictured after finding them near their home. We live in a VERY small town in SW GA. The dog was wearing a collar, but his ID tag was blank. However, we scanned it and lo and behold!
