Very happy with the best shifters

I am very happy with these shifters. I have used Shimano derailleurs for years but they are just as good and the customer service has been excellent.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Appearance

The installation is very simple and convenient

The installation seemed very simple to me. The hardest part, if any, was making sure the levers were aligned and the hand position was comfortable after the bolts were tightened.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Great value for money and very easy to install.

Enough space for easy installation of brake and shift cables. The brake cable attachment point is drilled for the old style mushroom ends of the cables. I had a search for them but they fit like a glove. I was very impressed with the product.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Protection

Derailleur front derailleur not working

I haven't even ridden it yet and the shifter broke after installing it. The derailleur doesn't shift when I try to upshift. I just recently installed a long with a new stripe band so I don't think I can return it as the return period has already passed. I just spent $60 on a switch that doesn't even work.

Pros
  • High quality finish
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Derailleur Not Working

The rear derailleur works exactly as it should and shifts up and down all 8 gears as intended, however the front derailleur is a different story. At first I thought I was doing something wrong but the derailleur shifts up 3 times but it only takes 2 clicks to get into 1st gear. So he shifts up like it's 4 gears and down like it's just one. NO tinkering or adjustment could get this derailleur to shift up and down smoothly.

Pros
  • Great Price
Cons
  • Operating Speed

Requires normal bike setup.

I love those brifters (brakes and shifters)! But you have to set up the bike to use them. This is routine for me as I maintain my bike myself. I just beat them and they worked terribly. As well as every brifter. If you can take the time to set up cables, tension, indexing, high and low limits for derailleurs and rear derailleurs, you will get good results. In comparison, the brakes are easier to adjust. Try the youtube video "Park Tools" - great guide and right. Or at the local bike shop.

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • Update available
