Efficient and Compact Microplane Cube Mini Box Grater in Stylish Black Review

Great little grater. It's easy to use, safer than other micro graters, PLUS it picks up what you grate. This is especially useful for making citrus peels! I love this cube grater.

I usually like Microplanes, but this one isn't that good. It's ok, but I find it awkward to use. The area of the grid is really small and it is difficult for me to use it. I would really like this grater if it was 2 or 3 times bigger.

Excellent grater! Fits perfectly in my kitchen drawer and works perfectly. The only downside for me was having to hold onto the item I was trying to rub. This made cheese softer and harder to grate, and chocolate wasn't as easy to make as it used to be. Although these problems can be circumvented.

My only real gripe with this grater is that it's difficult to hold when you just want to grate some cheese directly onto your dish; Since most flat surfaces are graters, you have to awkwardly grab at the corners. And depending on which side you use, you also can't measure what you've grated without ripping it apart, checking the amount, and then trying to put the pieces back together without crushing the cheese. Otherwise a good investment so far and I hope it will last longer than the cheaper…
