Works great with nutmeg!

After a long search for an efficient and effective nutmeg grater, I've found that the simplest solution is actually often the best. That works great!

All good things come in a mini version

I confess I didn't read the description well so I was a bit surprised by its tiny size when it arrived. I have a larger version. It was actually better for my set of breeding knives. It's pretty sharp and does the job well, as does the big one. I think I like this one better because it's tiny.

Why is it curved? the best in kitchen and dining room

Update: change by one star. The curved shape is disappointing and totally useless. See photos. I have this for grating cinnamon and nutmeg for coffee. It works, but it's hard to use for spices. I don't know why it's bent. This makes it difficult to grate straight and you end up with a U-shape of spices. I would prefer a flat blade.

A must-have for your well-stocked kitchen. Bought this for my brother and girlfriend for Christmas as I know I have personally had one for over 9 years, it's perfect for grating hard objects and some cheese. I mostly stick with hard cheeses when using them as a topping for something I'm cooking. The grater is strong, feels good in the hand and is small enough to fit in an overflowing crockery pitcher. Would buy again.

It was exactly what I was looking for! A quick, easy, no-fuss, minimal cleanup, yet effective way to add some cinnamon to my coffee! This gives me exactly the finishing touch I was looking for. I see many other uses for this with spices of all kinds, but not when you need to grind/grate a large amount. Make sure you don't throw it away when you first open the package) is a great way to keep it in your desk drawer so you don't cut yourself later. It slides in and out of this case fairly easily…

Baby SHARP! However, I would like to buy an apartment. I bought it for nutmeg but then I needed it for lemon zest. This apartment is best suited for this. I went ahead and bought Martha Stewart at our local Macy's store. It doesn't do lemon zest as well as a round blade.
