super quality! Very well built!

It is heavy and well built. Good ending. Does the job of looking awesome on your hitch - if you ever see that with anything on that hitch.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Almost everything is ok

The clutch thumb is the best outdoor accessory

Sturdy and well built, I would recommend. Fits great and I love the security key. A toggle switch instead of a regular key is better than a master key. MIC TUNING offers some good ideas.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • A dubious purchase for the elderly

Key too difficult to insert

The shape of the key makes it difficult to insert and open the key properly. You have to get on your knees and watch it. Not worth it, take it with a regular key, easy to insert.

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Good but not great

If you want to use more than one night, please do not buy this item.

Only worked great for a day or two. However, I recently used it for three weeks while traveling. During this time drove through several heavy rains. When I got back the lock was rusted and wouldn't accept a key so I was able to remove it. I had to break to remove and block my ball.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Large and bulky

High quality clutch lock

Half the price I found in HD for a better product. I like the security key, not the default key. Fits snugly on my hitch to lock. I also like black, not what I could find locally which was all chrome. The waterproof cover is good but I've had these before and they didn't last long. Hope this one lasts.

Pros
  • Pleasing
Cons
  • Some bugs

Didn't do the most important thing! Fell while being towed!

I have used these on the hitch pulling a Ford Fiesta behind my Class C camper. As always, both myself and my wife have duplicate of all locks, pins, cables etc during this time checked on the last ride one of them fell off! At 60 miles per hour. In an area of intense development. Luckily the Roadmaster's ropes held the coupler in place and we were able to pull over safely (that's why you cross the ropes/chains). DANGEROUS!

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Requires a socket

This is a good locking pin

is present I gave it a 4 because the locking piece is blocking one side of my hitch where the chain would normally be attached but I was able to work around that. I added some lube to the locking device to keep it from binding. When you unlock the stylus, the button actually pops out. This way you can use the key to turn it to the locked position but leave the lock off until you press the button, which is a really nice feature.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Minus

Save your RV - DO NOT buy it

Do not buy! We lost it at 5:00 am rush hour in Nashville, Tennessee. The hitch came off and our trailer rolled down I-45. Thank God for the safety brakes and His blessings, otherwise it would all have turned into a tragedy. We were 6 INCHES from the fence and a deep chasm. Many thanks to the Nashville Highway Incident Response Team for the help. I wish this lock worked as well as they did. You must have a ZERO star category.

Pros
  • This is great
Cons
  • The list goes on.

No star rating for MICTUNING TRAILER HITCH LOCK

Even if I put one star I wouldn't give a single star. The only way to introduce myself was to show a star. I do not recommend this item for those towing a trailer. Was in the mountains coming back from a hike, the roads were like a washboard. The locking mechanism wasn't supposed to be designed for vibration, the locking side of that pin came loose, and when the trailer and receiver finally got off the truck, the only thing that could be found was the pin. The area where the lock meets the pinโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Some small things
