Even if I put one star I wouldn't give a single star. The only way to introduce myself was to show a star. I do not recommend this item for those towing a trailer. Was in the mountains coming back from a hike, the roads were like a washboard. The locking mechanism wasn't supposed to be designed for vibration, the locking side of that pin came loose, and when the trailer and receiver finally got off the truck, the only thing that could be found was the pin. The area where the lock meets the pin was not damaged which led me to believe that the locking mechanism for this type of hitch pin is substandard and should be inspected before sale or withdrawn from sale and repaired. I will not buy this type of item again, will return with a mechanical lock to the hitch pin.
