First, the 50 liter version is quite heavy. I am a male of average height, slightly above average strength, but the weight is quite large for me, so it will probably be difficult for many people. Raise the team if you can. I climbed this thing up 4 flights of stairs only to find that the pump inlet hose was missing (it's not just a hose, it's a plastic retainer that allows it to snap into the cube). Two more drain hoses were included but it was a huge disappointment to pay more for the larger…

Should have been good

I looked at Midea in consumer reports and although they had no rating for this model all models rated had very good or excellent humidistat accuracy. After using this dehumidifier for a few days, I noticed that the humidistat shut off badly. I had three lab calibrated humidifiers that confirmed the dehumidifier was off by 12-17%. Turned VPN off, went through Wi-Fi setup and bingo. it worked. The support team has to point out that the app seems to be pretty good. You can do most of the important…

Residential unit with "Industrial Finish "

Here are my first thoughts on the Midea Cube dehumidifier. some dirt in a bucket to collect water. I asked for a replacement which arrived within a day. Weight: This device is definitely heavy; requires considerable forearm strength to lug around a 50 pint version. Functionality: Based on my previous comment on the QA/QC of the first device (or lack thereof), it is not surprising when I found that the Wi-Fi connection was unstable for the first few days. . However, the replacement had no…
