The best thing I've ever used, I recommend it to everyone!

A great device for a small office connected with an external PoE device. For the home - quite a suitable option. The only thing that spoils the picture is the lack of bittorent support. Is it really so difficult for developers to implement functionality? Indeed, in terms of price range, the device fits into home use. Has some pros: Huge customization functionality. There are practically no competitors. Even with a bunch of connections, it can withstand a speed of 50 Mb / s. Very simple…

Bought for learning how to set up a network. This router can do just about everything. Every little thing can be configured, from configuring ports to wi-fi signal strength and light indication! I was very pleased with the internal set of network diagnostic tools. Sniffer, traffic generator and various scanners. I did not expect to see such a set in a router priced at 2500. After D-link, Tp-link and other manufacturers, it feels like a breath of fresh air. I am very satisfied with the purchase.

Pros
  • Highest reliability Good WiFi Great iron! Router OS Price
Cons
  • There is none of them!

What you need, a cool purchase, I advise you.

The MikroTik hAP lite (RB941-2nD) model out of the box also suffered from a sudden reboot, but on all those offered at the office. The firmware site works flawlessly. Now it works properly on WebFig v6.33.3 (stable). The computer must be connected to the second port, otherwise it may lose the ability to connect both via ip and via winbox. There was a comment that the router did not configure itself out of the box for the provider, I had the same thing, even if your provider has auto settings,

Pros
  • Wi-fi speed could not be tested on the latest laptop with N protocol support, but tablet phones work many times faster than on d-link dir300nru, the speed strongly depends on the type \ brand \ model - the most connected device (the Sony phone showed a higher speed than various samsung tablets / smartphones) over the cable, the speedtest gave out 70\50, while the smartphone showed 35\28 via wi-fi, samsungs 25\18 megabits. Breaks through walls well. The processor of the router showed a load of 16% when downloading a dozen torrents at a total speed of 10 megabytes! At the same time, ping to the router is 1-3, unlike d-link dir300nru where ping can jump from 15 to infinity. Good processor. Full of RAM, just enough for the home.
Cons
  • Smells like burnt plastic. There is a speaker and it beeps when it reboots. I hope that it was only me who got married, but it is constantly overloaded even out of the box. It can work stably for days, but if you turn off the power, it falls into a cyclic reboot and cannot boot. Reboot with a button, reboot by closing contacts, flashing through netinstall, to different versions from the site, did not lead to anything, it is flashed from the 10th time, and still beeps and reboots. Sometimes it calms down after 5 hours of reboots and works until the power is turned off, after all over again.

An unattractive product, an unprofitable purchase.

We bought it according to the recommendations as a router with the maximum communication quality and the largest coverage area. ated the software, completed all the settings. But the router did not start at the client - it could not get the default gateway (I received it on the local network). Most likely, the matter is in the features of the provider, but all the tp-link / asus models known to me started up on it without any questions. The problem was fixed by setting the option Add Default…

Pros
  • Good build Lots of options to customize.
Cons
  • Incorrect default settings. Complex interface for the client (there is no convenient quick setup mechanism).

The best I ever used, recommend it to everybody.

Yes, it’s probably not realistic to set it up yourself, they took it to the provider (they said that it’s better for the provider to set up complex professional equipment) the two-story house covers completely . The speed practically doesn’t cut at all, set it and forget it (never flew out buggy, or anything like that) we are very satisfied ! Model 951g-2hnd

Pros
  • Stability
Cons
  • it’s hard to set it up yourself, it’s probably not even realistic if you haven’t contacted it!

I bought in exchange for the old router from LinkSYS, which didn’t work so much as it was capricious - I had to reboot once a week + poor coverage, WiFi worked smoothly only 3 . 4 meters from the router, in all other places its signal was drowning in porridge from neighbors or street networks. I even had to install another WiFi router in repeater mode, but it all worked like hell. The new router works flawlessly. Coverage is available throughout the apartment. At the farthest point, the speed

Pros
  • amazing device
Cons
  • Not quite correct description on the market - I took "5 ports" as 5 LAN and not as 1 WAN + 4 LAN.

I really like the product, it fully meets my expectations.

The result is if it was advised to you and you don’t have any friends who understand network technologies at least a little, or you bought it because "someone has it!" then you are mistaken, even if there are a lot of examples on the network how to set it up, but without knowledge of networks it will be difficult for you, buy a regular home router and don’t suffer, you can hardly intuitively do an elementary port forwarding of the program! My verdict is excellent hardware for those who…

Pros
  • Let's start with the fact that this piece of iron has many different advantages, starting with the division of Lan ports into groups, VLANs, you can at least cram providers into all ports (there are 5 of them). The performance of iron for such a box is enough, there are shapers and so on ( its power suits me quite well!) its POE connector! There is the same HotSpot, a bunch of VPN channels (you can install whatever you want!) There is a USB port (This is not for file cleaning or DLNA), it is for USB modems, maybe for printers (I didn’t check it myself, I don’t know!) There is a self-test function if the device is frozen then it will restart itself and there is no need to unplug and curse the provider (you can ping anything and after as much time as you like, plus sending activity reports to a remote mailbox, convenient for system administrators!) By default, the firewall policy is "Everything is allowed". Large selection of network settings and Wifi networks!
Cons
  • It's time to switch to a WiFi module with a 5GHz band! Difficult for beginners! Lan port indicators cannot blink as actively as the User-Led indicator (this is not very convenient for me)

Wonderful quality, one hundred percent satisfied!

as a networker and head of a large IT department, I can say with confidence that this hardware is worth the money. set once and forget. These Mikrotik devices are the best I've seen since Cisco. Previously (5-8 years ago) I could not imagine that such a set of functions could cost 4-8 thousand. Pros below: - work stability. - the ratio of functionality to cost - stable software that is regularly ated - integrates very well into any network. Some cons: the only drawback and it is also a…

I suffered for a long time with Chinese routers, D-Link, TP-Link, Asus and other charms of the Middle Kingdom. Eternal glitches haunted me all the time. Lately, there was 1043ND from TP-Link, converted to DD-WRT, since the native firmware could not do anything at all and constantly hung up. However, DD-WRT solved many problems, but over time, iron began to fail. There were constant dependencies, PPPoE tore the connection. I was already beginning to sin against the provider, I even called them a

Pros
  • Powerful WiFi (27dB) Proc 600MHZ! Memory for 128 meters! Fine tuning Doesn't heat up at all Doesn't cut speed Doesn't fall Scripts for managing functionality Quick release housing without screws Availability of USB PoE Ethernet Port Independence RouterOS! So he knows almost everything by 99%
Cons
  • For 2022r? They simply don't exist. Unless they brought outputs to antennas, but the board has connectors for connecting MS-156 plugs, so you can drill yourself and make at least SMA, at least N, at least anything. Well, it doesn’t work as a print server, which is generally solved by the presence of a Metarouter on board, on which you can roll OpenWRT with the appropriate functionality. Who really needs it - will do it.

The quality exceeds all expectations, I recommend to buy.

I have been using this equipment for over 2.5 years. And completely satisfied. In the segment house, small office, medium office. It can and should be used in the condition when "There is no money, but you hold on" I rarely see operators - there are reasons for that (but this is already a holivar!). I will say this - we do not use it at home, as it does not cope well with the load.

Pros
  • It has no equal in its price segment. The functionality is great (even though Linux is on board). Powerful Wi-Fi (but only a 1-watt transmitter) spreads an apartment of 200 sq. M, everywhere there is a confident reception, but the speed drops. (in small apartments, I recommend lowering the power) Good for building Wi-Fi roaming. And yes, the most important plus - set and forget.
Cons
  • If the user is not an IT specialist, it will be difficult to set up. (except when the provider gives you the Internet via Option 82 - aka DHCP, everything will work by itself) Complete game with the Beeline Internet setting, in the option when they give you Internet via L2TP (complete game).

Excellent product, the best quality.

Choosing between this model and the UniFi AP, there were concerns about the coverage radius and reliability of work. Set up in 5 minutes, easy to set up. It keeps the speed well, cuts off half as much as the Dlink Dir-300 that stood before. Stably supports 10 WiFi clients. To my regret, I found that during configuration you can screw up, for example, like this: set the IP address of the router and the range of DHCP addresses from different networks. After this feint, only Hard Reset helps…

Pros
  • Speed, coverage radius, stability and stability of work, an abundance of settings
Cons
  • No patch cord included

I do not recommend spending your money on this.

In general, a good and stable router. But tuning is dancing with tambourines. Everyone writes about a powerful signal, but this is only if you have a global firmware. I had a 2022 one, and even there the signal power is limited, so I had to reflash. There are instructions, but the program for flashing only for Windows, and still requires computer settings, so I figured out how to do it for three hours, in the end it turned out to reflash, but I still didn’t understand how it happened, because I

Pros
  • Lots of settings and options.
Cons
  • You can't figure out the settings without half a liter. You need to read the manuals and ideally take paid courses on RouterOS

I bought Mikrotik on a recommendation, I needed powerful Wi-Fi, Netgear couldn’t get to the kitchen through two main walls, and it worked slowly in the next room. Was very pleased with the purchase. Recommended for experienced users and enthusiasts. The power of the Wi-fi transmitter was limited to 21db. With Mikrotik, I first saw Internet speeds over Wi-Fi of almost 100Mbit/s. My previous Netgear never gave out more than 25 Mbps.

Pros
  • Wi-Fi transmitter power, high speed Wi-Fi transmission, incredible OS features and menu tools
Cons
  • Didn't find

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Only disadvantages and no pluses, do not buy.

For a long time, I considered this brand to be the best for home and office use with light loads. A router that can do everything. And this particular model is also very powerful - a whole 1 W, citizens! 1 W is a lot! But! It was. And now everything is different. Initially, this power could be leveled by the lack of a filter at the reception and, as a result, poor noise immunity - a 4G modem working nearby could fill up your input and nullify all the pluses. But this is a rare case. But what is

Pros
  • Functional. Until now, the capabilities of Mikrotik have not been surpassed by anyone. It is impossible to list everything. PoE
Cons
  • Power. Extremely low power router. Weak USB port power. Critical when using 4G modems No 5 GHz

tired of routers 1500-2022 with constant freezes, I decided to take something more serious. It immediately inspires an ascetic appearance, no half-meter pop antennas, nevertheless it broadcasts from the house throughout the site. The settings are complicated, I lost it at first, I didn’t turn on NAT and I wondered what was wrong. Plus, the WAN port is almost not highlighted in color in relation to the LAN, there is a risk of confusing and then wondering why it does not work. Now everything is…

Pros
  • fault tolerance, the wildest number of settings, gorgeous coverage

there was a specific task to hide the router in a cabinet with mirrored doors. The rest of the routers did not break through, the signal would be very weak. With this, everything is super, the transmitter is very powerful, speed, ping everything is stable. Mikrotik is scolded for the complexity of the settings - but nothing like that, maybe the interface is certainly not the most friendly, but everything takes about 3 minutes.

Pros
  • power is just great
Cons
  • No

I didn³'t expect the quality to be this good.

1. At an Internet speed of 100/50 Mbps, 95/49 comes out from the provider via lan. By WIFI on a laptop 35/25, on Ipad and Iphone 30/25 2. If it were possible to add external antennas, then there would be a spacecraft, not a router 3. Although the setup is more complicated than on simple routers, there are so many instructions that even the "read and poked" method will work out. If you are thinking to buy or not to buy because of the complexity of the setup, then buy 4. Previously, there was…

Pros
  • 1. Great price for a router of this level 2. Powerful 600 MHz processor with overclocking capability up to 750 MHz. Accordingly, it copes well with loads (from 4 devices I played Full HD and downloaded a torrent - nothing sagged) 3. Powerful signal and penetration (15dbm is enough for an apartment, but here you can unscrew 27dbm) 4. A huge number of settings. Ability to customize for any task.
