The best return on your money!

We adopted a 95 pound, four year old German Shepherd who is very fearful of other dogs. We bought him a Kong collar and tie for our garden as we weren't sure how he would react to the neighbors dogs behind us. He saw her and charged straight away, breaking through Kong without even batting an eyelid. This collar, on the other hand, is the collar that completes all collars. By far the most durable collar I have ever used or seen. I was skeptical at first, as the fastening system is not only a…

Great for really huge breeds

This is a really well made collar for my Great Dane Neapolitan. I have a hard time finding collars larger than 28 inches. Most collars made in China think XXL sizes are 23-26 inches which is really clueless. The material is very thick and the built-in handle is great. The clasps are very heavy and not wobbly. The clasp is metal and has a quick release buckle that has a great design. worth your money. I would like to give 5 stars but have not received a new collar. repackaged. But I still want…

Nice sturdy collar

So far we are happy with the collar. He's only been with us for a few days. The only real improvement we could think of would be to maybe round off the end of the Velcro. The corners are actually quite sharp and hard. I see how a short haired dog can "rub against the skin". There are silly things I need to get used to like ring and handle placement and such, but this will be a little different for each dog depending on their size. I'm not sure how much can be done to improve these things. (If…

Beautiful and durable large dog collar

I recently purchased this collar for my 90 lb 16 month old German Shepherd. He braced himself against some collars; but not this one. So I think the collar is comfortable for him. It's too early to speak about the long-term reliability of the collar. Here's my immediate feedback (and I'll edit it later if needed). Plus: - Sturdy steel Cobra buckle - Operating handle - Easy length adjustment with strong Velcro - Plenty of Velcro for different tags. Heavy Duty - The description says 'Durable' to…

High quality material and very durable.

There are a few points I would like owners to consider. One was that this purchase looked like a high-priced deal. Over $50 for a collar doesn't sit well with most pet owners. However, when the collar arrived (very punctually), the packaging lacked sensuality, quality and courtesy. The collar was packaged in a small clear plastic bag with a bar code label and the name of the item. Finally, the brand new item had a number of chips on one of the metal rings, exposing the silvery metal base. Maybe

Extremely fat - maybe too fat?

This collar is designed to last. Extremely thick nylon with real Cobra buckle. I thought about getting a cheaper fake Cobra buckle but decided the security of the real thing as well as the added features of Miles' collar were worth paying more for. But I think Miles could use more flexible nylon in the collar. Out of the box (well, the bag) the collar is very stiff. I hope it will soften over time. But I have to watch out for irritation on my dog's neck. I also think it would be better if the…

Great Product: Collars, Harnesses & Leashes

My GSD pup, now six months old and weighing 60 pounds, is kind of a Houdini when it comes to collars. Leather, heavy woven fabric, thinner nylon. She either collapsed or broke free. Please note that this happens indoors or when playing outside, not just outside. I won't leave her alone on the street. Chain collars were out of the question, with the exception of a corrective collar used only during training. So note that I'm referring to an everyday collar that includes her necessary markings. I
