If you want it square. It's not that

I wanted something easy to use when we need a woodworking project in our shop so I took it out of the box and tested it thoroughly calibrated by the German machine squares. As you can see from the photo this thing is nowhere near 90*

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Only available in black

Super strong super comfortable

super strong i love accuracy but why do they always make good rules so brittle they break if dropped. It's durable and has plenty of markings without the use of a flimsy ruler. I like it small and comfortable. Delicate just falls apart, this one will survive

Pros
  • good thing
Cons

Good price, good color.

Accuracy is OK. I imagine it would be more expensive if the fit and finish were better. To "break off" sharp edges after stamping or cutting, the red anodizing would be removed at this point. I try to prevent the coatings on the instruments from cracking or scratching. I had to cut off the sharp edges.

Pros
  • One year trial period
Cons
  • No

This is NOT good for rounding corners

It's not 90 degrees when laid flat. However, if you want a tool that you can lay on the edge and have relatively flat layouts for laying out lines, this is a much cheaper alternative than certain other red brands. In addition, Revain has other alternatives. I would recommend that over it.

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Setting the accuracy took less than 2 minutes.

Failed to load media. There are many complaints that this 6-inch screen isn't 100% square. This one - also pretty much arrived in the wrong direction…. But all I had to do was unscrew the base and line it up with another exact square nearby. and that's a good thing :) surcharge in the camp. feels super firm and smooth. I use a Staedtler Night Blue 0.9mm mechanical pencil (925 35-09), $10 well spent :) Yay!

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Socket required

Good enough and at the right price

This is a handy addition. It's easier to use than the combination square, but it's a little less accurate (or maybe it's just my unit of measurement). Holes make it easy to draw lines and fairly accurate for markers. The tool is lightweight - both the red square and black leg are aluminum. In addition, all markings and numbers are deeply engraved, including the Milescraft logo, so nothing rubs off. Both sides are marked with Archaic/Imperial customs. The red anodizing can be a bit thin and…

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
