Excellent sleeping bag.

This sleep system is the best sleeping bag I have ever used, especially for the money. We've all played around with Coleman sleeping bags or other traditional camping systems, but the three-piece system is in a league of its own (the fourth piece is the black compression bag, which is excellent). I first experienced it in the military and was sad the day I had to hand it in along with the rest of my gear when I got out. I was determined to buy one just because I knew how good it was and I was…

Very good quality modular sleep system, affordable, durable and useful!

I purchased two sets of AmmoCanMan US Army Modular Sleeping System. He described their condition as "used-good" but one set was like new and the other was average. The first set, like new, was clean as if it had just been washed with no odor, mold or dirt. The zippers are in excellent condition. The quality and condition of the fabric on the modular sleep systems is excellent with no scuffs or tears. The bag can accommodate all three modular sleeping systems, is very durable and comes with…

I have exceeded his limits!

I spent two nights in -35F with winds up to 50 mph a few hundred feet off the shore of Lake Michigan at the tip of the Wisconsin Peninsula in a canvas hammock (not usually recommended for winter camping) . I really wanted to push this case forward. I was warm enough to sleep and I don't sleep well at all. I was still very layered and my back and legs were definitely a bit chilly as the wind was blowing from below absorbing my heat (which is why hammocks are not recommended), but I was still…

Great sleep system but not safe at -50F!

That's a good sleeping bag! Of course, it's not that compact, but it retains heat. I would question the -50°F rating. I was just north of Two Harbors, Minnesota (on Lake Superior) and it was about -20F when we packed up and left. I'm a slightly heavier guy who doesn't have a cold at all. In this bag I was in a tent with another person. There was minimal wind/wind. I used all the layers of the sleeping bag, in fact I had an extra fleece lining for the sleeping bag which is said to reduce the…
