Waste of Money - Inaccurate, Frustrating

After trying this product, I was disappointed with its lack of accuracy. It gave inconsistent readings, making it frustrating to use. The one positive was its compact size, but that was not enough to justify its price tag. Overall, I cannot recommend this product for anyone looking to accurately measure small quantities in their home and kitchen.

Pros
  • Accurately measures small amounts of gunpowder for reloading ammunition
Cons
  • Requires a separate scale for larger measurements

Great little scale for $$

I bought this to use as a calibration tool to confirm the weight on the balance scale. In fact, it's as accurate as my balancer, giving a reading of 0.001 degrees while the balancer only reads 0.01. Now I often use it instead of my wooden scales which are much more expensive than these scales. Good batteries are required for proper operation, but not all. Great tool for your money.

Pros
  • Measuring Tools and Scales
Cons
  • I will add later

More accurate and stable than others

After the performance of other smaller digital scales had deteriorated, I bought these from Maxus. I think it's great that it goes up to 100 grains instead of just 10. This allows you to get closer to the desired powder area for reloading. Having had problems with digital scales and realizing that a fan and/or overhead light and even electronics placed too close such as cell phones could turn off a digital scale, I bought this scale and hoped for the best. This scale is much more stable than…

Pros
  • Digital scale
Cons
  • No instructions
