Cost-effective increase in performance.

No need to spend a lot of money on a cold air system. Take it out of the box and put it on. While it would be nice to have instructions or a few photos to help with installation, the job can be done. It's a shame that Revain can't provide buyers with these basics if the product is to be sold on a supposedly reputable site. I think that can be attributed to the Bezos baffle.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Security

Not much of a difference

Took about 45 minutes, I'm not an experienced mechanic but it's not rocket science. It was pretty easy for me, I installed complex things. I don't know if it's because I have an after sales flow master under my hemi or something. But I don't hear anything different than when I take it regularly and my consumption is the same. But I think it's better than stock if you want to show off what's under the hood.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Use the bottom of an existing air filter housing box

"LOL" on people saying this product is rubbish. Sure, it's not $400,000, but it's not junk either***Note***For anyone a little confused with the install. The heat shield is mounted directly onto the existing air filter housing. It's built EXACTLY like a Spectre cold air intake system. It certainly makes the engine bay sound a lot louder when accelerating. Definitely worth $60.

Pros
  • Builds confidence
Cons
  • Negative impression

It needs some work but for the money it's great!

Ring clamps full of cramp! Do yourself a favor and use two clamps from the factory intake and buy two from the parts store. You need to use some silicone around the sensor gasket. I also suggest watching some YouTube videos on installation as the instructions are rubbish. Also, it was a very easy build and fit well. The truck sounds and drives great. It really opened up the engine. I'm also getting about 2mpg better on my fuel.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Cord shorter than other picks

It works great, is worth the money, I saved $300 compared to K&N

I got one like this for my 2011 Ram 1500 last year. I had to cut a bit at each end of the tube to make it fit properly between the throttle body and airbox. I had to put the air sensor socket on and use silicone to press the socket in. But once installed it looked great and sounded great. The fit of the pants seemed to have better throttle response and launch. I believe it has also improved my gas mileage, I've got 18-19 combined city/highway and almost 21 on long drives. I liked it so much I…

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
