Great tire pressure gauge!

Excellent tire pressure sensor! I bought 3 and would recommend them to anyone looking for a quality sensor. Made in the USA.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Almost never

Large heavy metal gauge

Good gauge for heavy duty applications like all gas stations. Hope it lasts like her. Seems accurate as far as I can tell.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Compatibility

Big and accurate. for tire and wheel tools

It appears to be well made, like all other Milton brand tools I own. It's big and harder to lose. More accurate and consistent than cheap little ones.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons

Works very well and was the main reason for the purchase.

Works very well and the main reason for buying it was advertised with us. Now it's hard to find but I pay more to make America work and not sell us!

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Bridgeport Replacement

I have ordered two more Milton 976 gauges to replace a couple of old bridgeports that are no longer working for me. This brings me to (3) 976 placed in several places for easy access. Milton 976 (S-976) always excels and never gives me a bad reading.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Fine

It seems perfectly accurate up to 110psi. But .

It seems dead accurate at around 110psi. But at about 25 psi and 35 psi drops it seems about 2 psi higher. It seals well and is repeatable. I'm working on my inner duals. It also reads perfectly through fill valve covers (and not all gauges). It's surprisingly big and solid. Minimum stick pressure 10psi. This is my first day with her; time will tell how it holds up.

Pros
  • Easy adjustment
Cons
  • Lots

Too inaccurate for big tires

On my approx tires 90psi, it shows around 5psi (tested with 3 gauges). This seems like overvariance, but if you know it's different by x% (about 6% in my case) you can handle it - I will. acceptable deviation (but then you could just use a $3 pencil meter and get that kind of accuracy). If accurate tire pressure is important for high-pressure tires, this is not a good buy at this price point.

Pros
  • Dope πŸ”₯
Cons
  • No power

Inaccurate: different readings on each attempt.

This gauge reads 50 to 94 pounds for a tire that is inflated to 80 pounds. I expected accuracy, but the lack of quality control shattered that dream. I'm going to the parking lot now to buy a tire gauge and I'm going to find out if the Chinese gauge is more accurate, if not at least it's easier to return. I hope your returns department does a better job than your quality control department. Made in America used to mean something good.

Pros
  • Lots of Positives
Cons
  • Some Negatives

This probe is similar to my grandfather's probe

This probe is similar to my grandfather's probe and believe me it's a good thing. It seems (and still is) made at a time when American artisans were proud and devoted to their work. It's a very solid feel with electroplated brass and from other reviews I've seen online this is a very accurate gauge compared to known pressures. It's not cheap made in China, use it half a dozen times and throw it away like a modern 'tool', it will most likely last a lifetime and I'm glad to own it. Well done…

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Available in white only
