Suitable for clean workshop work

Slightly leaking, close tolerance, not the best choice for outside or heavy dirt work, but works well if kept clean. Do not use harsh cleaning chemicals such as brake cleaner or commercial cleaning solutions.

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Good concept, failed execution

In theory this connector looked great. However, the one I received was leaking air whether it had anything to do with it or not. Leaked through sockets. Rather unsuccessful. Sent back for a refund.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Legacy model

Great coupler for power and hand tools

Love this multi-function coupler! I found one case where it didn't fit my new plasma cutter. I had to sharpen the adapter a bit to get it fully into the coupler. Although otherwise I love it. Pressure relief is also very nice!

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • New competition arrived

Milton quality at its finest

They're really good. Suitable for all common plugs. Easily removed from hoses/tools under full pressure. Spent so many dollars on adapters with different connectors. We have used Milton accessories for many years with great success. I even have a few Prevost hitches and these S-1750s are the same quality as these.

Pros
  • Absolute legend
Cons
  • There are downsides

No leaks and easy connection

Replaced my cheap coupler with these and everyone is happy (well, mostly me). Now anyone can easily connect the tool even under full pressure and there is NO LEAKAGE at this connection point. Haven't tested percussion instruments vibrate collar down and shut off airflow as others have stated, but will check soon and update my review.

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • Crumpled

Will not work with air hammer

Connecting a air hammer to this coupler will cause "bleeding" to cause the battery to vibrate and blow air out, damaging your tool. It works out? Of course. The vent is a feature I neither want nor need. This is annoying and makes any good workmanship, materials and "universal quick coupler" unacceptable. Big sails and beautiful wood paneling don't change the characteristics of a boat that sinks, even if it's only "for a while".

  • Pleasant

  • Negative Present

Fantastic coupler - very easy to use

This coupler allows you to bleed air from the hose or tool it is connected to and then easily disconnect. Simple and easy to use. Very high quality production. No more hassle with disconnecting a hose with this connector. It's slightly larger than a regular air fitting, which can be a disadvantage at the end of the hose where you connect a light tool. I use a Stedlin quick coupler to solve this problem, but it doesn't bleed first. It's very easy to disable.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Always adaptable - power tool parts and accessories

The new dealer I started at had different 1/4" couplings than my old one. I found this universal coupling and didn't need any of them on my air tools.I put it on a 6ft flexzilla hose.I never move to another manhole but when needed I just made another with this adapter. To the style I had some will say why not just buy new male fittings. I have about 40 different air tools. At the store plus what I have at home they range from $2 to $7. Replacing all of them costs about $200. Also, many tools are

4 out of 7 lick when not connected to the tool!

I liked the first one I bought as it worked great with my old industrial fittings and the heavy duty V-Series that I wanted to use for the mills and blast room. I bought 6 more and 4 of the 6 leak when unplugged. The red sleeve can move slightly towards the end of the fitting and allow air to escape. Simply moving or hitting the fitting during operation will cause air leakage. 3 out of 7 don't lick. UPDATE: After contacting Milton and telling them 4 were leaking they offered to replace the…
