I like this idea but found it didn't remove carpet glue very well. I used a chemical remover and then heat, both combined with a scraper. It did not work. I ended up using boiling water and a manual razor blade scraper. Advice I found in this old house.

The blade is ideal for removing peeling and sticking vinyl tile from over 300 square feet of concrete floor. Should have listened to the negative reviews; I bought this thinking I could use it to scrape old carpet glue off concrete or old paint off a wooden cabinet. This product failed to do both and now I'm telling others not to make the same mistake. This could only work if you could get the perfect exact angle within a degree and the perfect exact amount of pressure. .
