this is my first armored shirt/jacket; I wanted something "everyday" that would retain ATGAT status. This shirt is pretty comfortable. Some of the jackets I've tried on seem very bulky. This shirt is a little bulky but a little smaller. It has moderate temperatures (60-70) but as it gets warmer it gets more uncomfortable, especially at traffic lights. Despite being called a 'shirt' this is a really good mid-weight jacket. It fits over another shirt and zips up (plus buttons). Comfortable, great fit, lots of pockets, armored in all the right places. Two things to know: 1. You need back armor (not included but there is a bag for it) so plan on spending another $20 for it. Comfortable jacket that fits well and looks great. I'm 5'11 185 and bought the large which is just right. It would be cozy if you could wear a hoodie underneath, but I rode with a t-shirt and jacket in 60-80 degrees. It gets a little warmer if you stop at higher temperatures, but that's to be expected. The armor is in the right places and doesn't move. Lots of pockets (even concealed carry). The jacket feels like a quality product, not too heavy and not too light. Highly recommended.

This is a heavyweight shirt, almost like a denim shirt. Zippers on the forearms and cuffs allow air to circulate on warmer rides. The elbow pads and pads must be too loose to be effective. You can add a back pillow. It seems that it is resistant to abrasion when gliding slowly. The mesh lining has pockets for plenty of storage. This is a great jacket for a cool day or evening. Too heavy for summer. But that's no problem.

Although I ended up returning it for a larger size I can say it is a great product. This is a thick jacket style shirt with better lining than the Speed and Strength brand.
