I removed the springs quite slightly to save space in my tool box and this makes delicate tool handling much easier. After some use I will move up or down with more stars.

I was hoping to use these for projects around the house (needed one of these in particular to put a bike together) but they are quite small and not well made as Part of your regular tool kit. They are good for electronics and small jobs. I wouldn't use too much force on them because they don't seem to take a lot of force and will wear down the handles on the metal ends of the pliers if you squeeze them too hard.
