So far so good, "two weeks "

Great little circulation pump for my 10 gallon reef tank. Judging by the reviews, he "howls" with increasing speed, you will notice this. Noise doesn't bother me so far. The pump comes with a replaceable fuse, be careful not to lose it. I paid just under $40 and so far it's worth 4 stars at that price. It looks like the current price is around $90, which isn't even worth two stars at this price point.

but works fine. - Aquarium Pumps and Filters

This product works pretty well but I'm having a few issues with it. #1 - Whenever it accelerates to a higher speed, it makes a howling noise. It can get really annoying when it fires every 15 seconds. #2 - Sometimes it just wouldn't start. All I have to do is wiggle the wires and it starts all over again. it's easy to spot because of the howling sound. For the price I expected a lot more from this product, do yourself a favor and save some more eco-tech money.

So-so pump is the best in water pumps

for the price I hope it will last several years, but mine died after a year of use. Maybe I have a defective pump. It works great while it's working, but it's not as quiet as I would hope and makes a whining noise when it's pacing. Updated May 4, 2014 It turned out that the fuse on my unit was blown and after replacing it the pump is working fine. So I updated my values. Update September 13, 2014 I haven't used the pump for months and now it's not working. Maybe the fuse again. Those tiny 1W…

Impressively powerful for such a small pump!

I bought this after a long search for a wavemaker for my 20 long reef tank. I was a little skeptical after just finding a few reviews and videos online but decided to give it a try. It was perhaps one of the best purchases I've ever made. I used to have a Koralia Nano which provides flow through the tank. This increases the current almost 4 times and my corals immediately started to swell and grow much faster over the next few weeks. The built-in controller starts the pump in the following…
