I use these timers for my kids when they brush their teeth. 2 minutes twice a day. I have three boys who brush their teeth for 20 seconds max and that's it. Now they will be cleaned for a full two minutes.

I'm 4 and was complaining there weren't any for 3 minutes, they sent 4 more and these are closer to 3 minutes but none were exactly 3 minutes. It looks like they don't have any quality control, I understand they are very cheap but they shouldn't be inaccurate.

Arrived very quickly! I timed all four with a stopwatch, and while none of them lasted exactly two minutes, they were all only slightly over. This is normal for me as I will be using it when brushing my teeth. I can give away some of the others. I'm happy with them!

You sat crooked and never completely empty without shaking. However, it makes the "time out” easier for parents and children. You can see how much time is left and you can make sure it's the right amount of time, regardless of whether you knew what time it was when you sent it.

I haven't timed it to see if they last exactly 2 minutes but the first thing that caught my eye was is that you can't really see the sand fall because it feels so good. I bought these for downtime so my son can figure out that he has to stay until all the sand has fallen, but since he can't see the sand falling the concept seems lost to him.

This set of four hourglasses included two two minute timers but the other two were 10 seconds shorter than 2 minutes. At least I could get two that fit what I wanted them for. It's amazing how long two minutes can be when trying to brush your teeth for two minutes. The hourglass is small enough to stand on a bathroom counter next to the sink, and it's handy for keeping track of two long minutes of cleaning.
