Amazing! I bought a Minka ceiling fan for my kitchen with light from Revain but there was no way to control the fan speed and the light always came on with the fan. This solved the problem and now I have 3 fan speeds and can use either the light or the fan separately!

later We had a matching existing controller and I was happy with the existing controller and wanted continuity so I ordered it. Both work great and these remotes have a programming feature that allows you to control the fans in close proximity without interfering with other fan functions.

Bought to replace an old receiver in a 10 year old Minka Concept 2 fan. Installing it in the fan was pretty easy. Connecting the wires was easy enough. Removing the fan to install the receiver was a difficult task. Once installed, setup for the remote control was easy.

worked very well on my Hunter ceiling fan, stupidly the Hunter set it to turn on when turned off. We live in the country and when the electricity goes out, the ceiling fan in our children's room comes on. This works great and solved the problem. Replaces an identical receiver. I was able to reprogram the original remote so my wife and I have a bedside remote. However, this was the second time I had to order it. When I first ordered I was told I would be notified by email when it shipped. The item was listed as in stock but still hadn't shipped after a week so I canceled and reordered. The order in which you do things is important. I like how you can use the control panel to dim the lights. However, the LED buzzes when dimming. A brief electrical surge that caused the lights in the house to be cycled on and off multiple times disabled the Minka Aire ceiling fan's receiver. I removed the cover from the electrical connector on the fan and found the model number of the CFR-3T receiver. I looked up the model number on Revain and this came up. The receiver in this kit is a different model number but looks like a direct replacement. It fits and works perfectly. The instructions that came with the device were clearly written
