🚲 Minoura BH-60 Black Handlebar Bottle Cage Holder Review

This bottle cage is well built and comes with all the necessary hardware for installation. Installation is easy and I liked the lightness of the product. Despite tightening the nuts as snugly as possible, I could not prevent the cage from shifting on the handlebars when the water bottle is removed. Instead, I bought a Topeak strap mount and preferred it, so I sent the Minoura back. It might work for some but being able to stretch it out enough was disappointing so I gave it 3 stars.

I received this cage carrier for my wife's bike because there was no room for a cage on her bike. After looking for other alternatives, I found this one and decided to give it a try. Installation was easy and hassle free, unlike the Topeak cage mount. I mounted it on the steering wheel with no problems. Keeps the cage nice and secure. This cage holder works great with the old gooseneck stem on my 1979 Pinarello, but will not fit the threadless stem on my mountain bike. I ride some gravel bike trails that cover everything below in dust. Mounting my water bottle in front and high on the grate keeps it dust-free and easier to access. I would put it on a mountain bike if it would fit. Just not wide enough or deep enough to fit through the handlebar clamp of the threadless stem mount. Uses a Topeak mountain bike water cage mount.

Be careful when buying, there is a high probability that it will not fit your bike.
